It is an elegant, well-equipped, spacious, Art Deco style-furnished holiday apartment close to Castle district, Thermal Baths and Margaret Island.
Comfortable up to 6 people, with a quiet garden-side balcony and a little one on the street side. Our apartment has two bedrooms with queen-size beds, a living room (with TV, CD and DVD players and collection) with a double sofa-bed and a nice dining room for 6 people. If necessary we have an extra double mattress (150 x 200 cm) to be installed in the master bedroom to ensure the living room function. The apartment lies directly across the road of the historical center of Amsterdam. Our view over looks the 15th-century Gothic Nieuwe Kerk (New Church), beside it is the neoclassical Royal Palace & the Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum & the National Monument, a white stone pillar erected in 1956 to memorialize the victims of World War II, dominates the opposite side of the square. Also overlooking the plaza are the NH Gr& Hotel Krasnapolsky & the upscale department store De Bijenkorf. These various attractions have turned the Dam into a tourist zone.
